CMI Congregation
The school was established in 1976 under the management of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Fathers of the Preshitha Province, Coimbatore. CMI Fathers are engaged in educational, social and other forms of service to humanity.
The congregation was founded in 1831 at Mannanam near Kottayam, Kerala and is the first and foremost among the indigenous religious congregations in India. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara gave a definite religious form to this community. A man ahead of his times, he laid the foundation for all modern and progressive fields of activities to which the congregation is committed at present.
