Guidelines At Viswadeepthi
- Every pupil must have a copy of the student hand book with tem and bring it to the school daily.
- Read the student handbook carefully. Make a note in it if anything s of importance to you.
- The school uniform is compulsory on all school days. The pupils are requested to come to school neat and tidy.
- This is your school. Keep it clean and tidy so that you and others may be proud of it.
- Only English should be spoken within the school premises.
- Change of address of the pupil, if any, should be intimated to the school office immediately.
- All are expected to be present in the class before the warning bell at 08.45AM.
- The warning bell is the sign to for all to go to their respective classroom. This should be done in silence. As soon as they are in class pupils should get ready for each period.
- Strict discipline should be maintained in the school campus.
- While moving from class to class pupils shall march silently in line.
- No pupil should enter the class after the lesson had begun without the permission the of the teacher nor should he/she leave the class without the permission of the teacher.
- For students of 10 and 12, to take leave even for half day, writeen permission of the principal must be sought and they must submit their filled absentees slip duly signed by their department teachers.
- No pupil should disturb other classes at work on the flimsy pea of taking a pen, pencil or book on loan from his/her friend.
- Irregular attendance, frequent failures in submitting class exercises, habitual want of discipline or any sort of serious misbehaviors are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the student.
- No pupil is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without Principal’s permission.
- No books (other than the school books), newspapers or periodicals should be brought tp the school without the knowledge of Principal.
- Students should neither borrow nor lend money , now should they exchange the articles.
- Students should have respect for school property. They should not damage school furniture, write or draw on the walls, scratch or spoil desks or chairs. Any damage of school property will have to be compensated. They shall not damage things which belong to others. They are requested to keep the classroom neat and tidy.
- Playing in the classrooms and corridors is prohibited.
- The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuables (like expensive watches, fountain pens, or gold ornaments) to school.
- Stealing and forging of signature are serious faults and anybody found guilty is liable to immediate dismissal.
- Vehicles must be kept locked.
- Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. The school assumes no responsibility for them.
- Ornaments and jewellery like rings, earrings, chains, bangles, ets. Unconventional hair style and or any make-up applying of hair fixer etc. that degrades the uniform a pupil wears will not be tolerated and is liable to be suspended from the school.
- Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones to school. Anyone found with mobiles are liable to immediate dismissal.
- Before the commencement of classes and during the intervals pupils are not allowed to play any indoor / outdoor games in the campus.
- Pupils should see to it that their hair is properly trimmed at regular intervals.
- Every pupil is expected to be polite and courteous. Bad behavior and use of foul or abusive language may result in expulsion of the student.
- Pupil must behave well at all times and in all places both inside and outside the school. No loud shouting or whistling is allowed in the school campus.
- Every pupil must behave respectfully towards the members of the staff.
- Wish every teacher irrespective of the classes he/she handles. Stand up at once and wish a teacher or a visitor when he/she enters or leaves the classroom. Students should stand up and show respect to the elders whenever and wherever they meet them.
- Be polite while speaking to teachers and elders in general.
- Maintain silence in the absence of a teacher in the class.
- Aim at full attendance and unfalling punctuality so that you may get me best out of the school.
- Take part in all the inter-school and inter-house co-curricular activities and make the best of the opportunities provided to you.
- Study and behave even outside the school in such a way that your teachers and parents may be proud of you.
- Time is precious. Use it well and never waste it.
- Learn your lessons daily. Do not postpone it to the last moment of examinations.
- Read good books and cultivate good manners.
- Read newspapers daily.
- Identify your talent / interest and develop it relentlessly. Never give up till you succeed. Untiring effort is the need of the hour.
- Make friends with studious companions. They will help you in work and will be good examples for you.
- Work hard and do your best in studies. Your parents and the nation expecting a lot from you.
- It is left to the discretion of the management to admit the pupils to school, staying with the guardians, or in hostel run by agencies other than the management of the school, or in lodges or in similar institutions.
- Students have to be in their full uniform during the school hours. If the students are found wandering about in the uniform and when the information comes to the school authorities. It will be informed to their parents and he will be severely punished either by being suspended or dismissed.
- The institution takes responsibility for the students within the school premises, but not for any incident taking place outside.
